MOOG ROGUE ENHANCEMENTS
The MOOG© ROGUE is the sister to the Taurus II Bass Pedals... They share the same sound engine. This synth has all of the key Moog synth features... 24dB/octave ladder filter, dual analog VCO's, VCO overdrive, random pink noise source, etc. and is capable of some gnarly, fat, analog synth goodness.

ENHANCEMENTS
POWER SWITCH, IEC POWER INLET, FUSE / 24 VAC X-FMR I hate wall-warts, so, I tossed the 24 VAC wall-wart and cut the Rogue chassis to accept an FUSE/ AC power inlet for an IEC power cord. I installed an internal Hammond© 24 VAC Torroidal Transformer to feed the Rogue power supply. _________________________________________ SYNHOUSE MIDI IMPLEMENTATION
To make the Rogue more useful, I wanted to be able to trigger it from an external MIDI Controller... so, I Installed a Synhouse MIDI Jack circuit board with ON/OFF push-button on the left wing of the keyboard.
_________________________________________ MOD WHEEL RETURN SPRING
_________________________________________ DE-GUNKED PCB, NEW CAPS, SWITCHES and POTS After disassembling the unit and cleaning/ degreasing the chassis, I had to remove the black-gunk from the PCB...The black-gunk is a result of the melting foam control panel backing that is supposed to keep dust out of the controls! Then I replaced all of the electrolytic caps and replaced the sliders and switches with new repro pots and switches from Technology Transplant©. _________________________________________ NEW KEYBOARD BUSHINGS I also installed new keyboard bushings to restore the keyboard to factory smooth key action with no clunking... smooth as butter. _________________________________________ |
